Thread Lock & Adhesive

Most bolted or screwed assemblies require some form of locking component to prevent loosening through vibration or shock loads. Although we offer a multitude of locking nuts and washers sometimes an adhesive or thread locking fluid is more appropriate.

As the official fastener distributor for the Kisling AG ergo.® brand we offer three variants of thread-locking fluid: The red ergo.® 4100 is high strength and generally used where the joint is not intended to be released. The medium strength ergo.® 4052 is blue and used primarily for metal machine threaded fasteners, as a non-permanent bond. The purple ergo.® 4003 thread locking fluid is suitable for use on threaded joints that are likely to be dismantled later on, and for smaller threads.

Additionally, we offer the general purpose low viscosity instant adhesive ergo.® 5011 formulated for general use, including permanent attachment of nylon fasteners. We also stock an industrial silicone sealant.
