These attractive 5-Lobe Pin security machine screws offer an improved tamper resistance compared to the more commonly available 6-Lobe Pin drive. The tooling is therefore more specialised and harder for members of the public to get hold of. Also known as torx plus or pentalobe screws, this variant has a button head. Torx and other lobed drive designs allows for a higher torque to be exerted than a similarly sized conventional hex socket head.

One Way Security Screws also known as Clutch Head Security Screws. These screws are designed to only be turned in a clockwise direction so once tightened into position they are difficult to remove (unless you have a specialist removal tool). Can be fitted using a standard slotted screwdriver and ideal for use in applications such as access panels, number plates and many anti-vandalism securing solutions.

Shear nuts are a permanent high security fastener that do not require specialist tooling to fit. They consist of a threaded cone section with a hexagonal head at the top. The hexagonal unthreaded part of the nut is designed to shear off as it is tightened at a pre-determined torque setting. This leaves behind the tamper proof cone which is very difficult to remove as there is no drive or grip. Great for uses where a permanent anti-vandal fixing is needed and used in schools and hospitals as well as the fencing industry and car industry.
